The School for Talented Ones

Chapter 1 – Tommy

As Tommy walks through the empty halls of TSTO, he noticed that all the classrooms and hallways were empty, only the darkness that lerked in the corners of the halls accompanied him. The desks were empty, their drawers opened, the paper scattered all over the floor. He took small steps walking in a rhythm, trying to stay as positive as possible. He had dark thoughts in his mind that he tried to keep back. Anyways, should he be able to easily do that? He walked toward his classroom which was filled posters of him and his band of heroes. He felt alone and depressed. He suddenly heard a sound. A screeching sound. Only one thing can make that sound. The toilet  door. He looked out the window, there was nobody there. He realized that he and the person were the only people in the world, he knew that since he could see around the world. The footsteps got closer. “Hello Tommy,” says the mysterious person.

“Raven?”

“Yes. It’s me. I’m back.”

He woke up, sweat running down his spinal cord. His pillow wet. He looked at the school and around the world. “Luckily that was a dream.” He thought as he went outside to the kitchen to get a glass of water. He quickly changed and went on his way to school. On the way, people were clapping and saying thanks and shakin hands. The roads were different this time. They were blocked off by something black and misty. So he took the long way round, the road with the homeless people and the trash collectors. But this time, there were cardboard houses which were really nicely constructed. Which isn’t normal. They used to live on cardboard. When Tommy walked by them, he felt that someone, or some people were watching him. So he looked through one of the windows (virtually) and found a pair of black eyes staring at him.

“We will find you,” Ringed a couple of voices. “He will find you.” That came from the houses. He quickly ran to school.

“Hey Tommy,” Phil said as they rushed up the stairs. There were holes on each floor in the corner which people were zooming up. Phil and Tommy usually flew up these ‘fly-alator’. “We have to pick up a package from Mr Holt on the 3rd Floor.”

“Ok, what is it? And why us?” Asked Tommy.

“It’s top secret and possibly because of our powers.” Answered Phil. So they went onto the third floor, being punched by the invisible bully Alexander. Tommy of course dodged every attack. He was too lazy to bother. As they made their way to the third floor Tommy told Phil about his dream. “Really? That is so weird. Moving on…”

“Hi boys, you must be here for the package,” They nod, Tommy trying to figure out, pressing his index and middle to his temples.

“I can’t get into him” He whispered to Phil.

“He must have an eraser power or something like.” Phil whispered as Mr Holt came out with the package.“So here it is give it to your teacher and tell him to teleport it away.” He said and walked back into his classroom fetching a pail of water just in case little Billy erupted into flames again engulfing to school once more. They walked back up to their classroom and gave it to Mr. Williams who teleported away directly to Mr Cooklin, who must have delivered it to someone important. The watches on our left wrists started to blink three times. There was an emergency.
